  • 1 whole chicken (cut into pieces)
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 preserved lemon (cut into slices)
  • ½ cup green olives
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley and cilantro
  • 1 cup water

  1. Heat olive oil in a tagine or deep pan.

  5. Add olives and preserved lemon. Cook for 10 more minutes.
  6. Garnished with parsley and cilantro before serving.
